This timeline has been in the making for a long time and it is absolutely thrilling to bring it to the community of game researchers, makers and players. Please help us make it fuller, sharper and inclusive. Version 1.0 is officially out today and will be discussed, hopefully also critically scrutinized, at the WIKIPEDIA Writing Workshop #2 organised by Games Denmark .
